Cut your potatoes about a 1/2″ thick, put them into a bowl with a tbsp. of oil, then lightly add a pinch of rosemary (optional), salt, and pepper; bake one layer for 30 minutes at 400 degrees. Loosen using a spatula and then bake for about 10 minutes longer. They’re really delicious with ketchup, a lot lower in calories and you’ll never miss the deep frying. Instead of having your largest meal for dinner, make midday the time for your big meal. For example, if you only eat soup, a sandwich or a salad for lunch, try eating your dinner for lunch and a sandwich for dinner. It will be easier to burn off the calories of the larger meal, as most of us are more physically active during the day.
